3.30.4 Interactive Television Inclement Weather
Due to the large geographical area covered by 91吃瓜 Community & Technical College, campuses participating in Distance Learning Classes using Interactive Television may not be experiencing inclement weather at the same time. The following policy will be in effect for all Interactive Television classes at the five 91吃瓜 campuses.
The 鈥渉ost鈥� site is defined as the location where the instructor teaches from. The 鈥渞eceive鈥� site is all other campuses participating in the class.
If the 鈥渉ost 鈥� site has been closed due to weather - the class will be considered cancelled at all sites.
If the 鈥渉ost鈥� site has not been closed but one or more of the receive sites has been closed, the decision to cancel the class will be made by a consultation of the Campus Deans at each campus involved in the class, on a case by case basis using the following criteria:
- Student numbers at each campus participating in the class.
- Instructor鈥檚 desire to proceed with the class material
- Current weather progression
- Administration鈥檚 concern for student鈥檚 safety
